JHT ATTENDS SHIPBUILDING AND DEFENCE INDUSTRIES EVENT

Egils Olekalns and Sam Jackman from our JHT team attended the I Choose SA for Shipbuilding and Defence Industries - Industry Brief last night at the Stamford Plaza.

Hosted by Brand SA, the event showcased some of the major players in the SA Defence Industry: Defence SA, DTC, BAE Systems and Naval Group.

Although the presentations were all along differing lines, what was very evident was the passion and excitement for the future of shipbuilding in this country, but with that will bring the challenges of supply chain integrity in the modern world of cyber hacking and successful Joint Venture arrangements to protect local industry.
